Managing Director
Derek Carr is the Managing Director of Addfield, with over a decade of experience in the incineration and thermal treatment industry.
Committed to designing, manufacturing and distributing industry-leading incinerators which exceed international standards.
Commercial Director
James Grant is the Operations Director for Addfield. He plays a pivotal role at the heart of a business. Successfully overseeing all operational aspects of company strategy and helping set strategic goals for the business.
Operations Director
I oversee the design, manufacture, implementation and ongoing support for all of our major projects. Joining Addfield in 2017, I have been expanding and managing the project team to bring in the most suitable professionals to ensure that every solution delivers consistent results environmentally, economically and reliably.

Mark Ellis

I have been part of the Addfield Projects family since 2019. I have numerous years of experience in the incineration industry, specialising in bespoke incineration solutions. My role in this industry has taken me all over the world. I am fortunate to work alongside a team of like-minded engineers who support me in the challenges that each new project brings.
Sales Manager
I am genuinely proud to be able to bring my extensive experience of helping solve complex waste disposal requirements around the world to the innovative team at Addfield Projects. After joining in early 2023 I have had countless opportunities to help complete a number impactful and sustainable solutions.
Senior Design Engineer
I supervise a team of expert engineers as we take the design of our bespoke facilities from the initial concept through to construction. Every project is an incredibly satisfying journey as I can be involved in the complete journey through to testing and final commissioning. When not in the office, you can find me in my workshop at home, tinkering on a number of personal projects.
Steve Pyatt
Project Manager
I have a long career in project managing complex installations, including Nuclear, Off-Shore Handling and Defence. Responsible throughout the life cycle of all projects. It is a pleasure to be able to bring this experience to a number of dynamic projects and help ensure our facilities are the best on the market. When not overseeing such a venture, you can find me on the golf course or practising DIY.
David Yates
Projects Engineer
I have been a part of the team for many years and involved in all of the projects during this time. I am responsible for essential engineering documentation, P&IDs, and, most importantly, operating manuals for all our installations. I enjoy the challenges of working across all departments bringing designers and engineers together to complete our complex projects on time.

Office Manager
I have the pleasure to be Office Manager for an incredible team overseeing a busy office, providing support to all areas, managing our purchasing and logistics where needed. I have been a team manager for the past 22 years and have a wealth of experience in direct customer service and team direction along with logistics and shipping knowledge. Projects has inspired me to grow and challenge my own abilities.

I have been part of Addfield for more than 10 years working with AES first building and installing a wide range of incinerators. I have been part of Projects since the very first machines built and I am really proud of the progress that we have made in the past few years and seeing the results that our installation have.

I have a multitude of experience in different countries in the bespoke industrial furnace industry. From site managing in Norway to managing the introduction of Green Hydrogen into furnaces. I am driven to lead; sustainability driven strategies and achieve the zero target by 2050 through implementing innovative business models at Addfield Projects.

I am a Projects Engineer at Addfield with over 12 years working with the company, having started my journey in the Middle East and now based in the UK office. I am passionate about engineering and enjoy delivering projects from concept through to completion. Outside of work, I am a keen cricket lover and enjoy following the game whenever I can.
Kinsley Joganah
Design Engineer
I have over 6 years’ experience in the furnace industry as a design engineer and take designs from ideas to real life. I deal with aspects such as bespoke plant layouts and proposals to detailed fabrication drawings. The best thing about Addfield Projects is that there’s no identical days whether you’re in the office or the factory. In my spare time I like to play sports such as football, badminton, and tennis.

I joined Addfield Projects in May 2024 as a Design Engineer. Since then, I have worked on a variety of projects, guiding them from the initial concept, through the design process and up to their final installation. As a design engineer for Addfield Projects there is aways a diverse task list for me to achieve.
Adam Rose
Process Engineer
I am responsible for the process design, including the creation of Heat & Mass Balances, Process Flow Diagrams and the sizing and procurement of major process equipment. Having joined in early 2024 I am loving the opportunity to help design and create bespoke waste-to-energy plants in unique and challenging circumstances.
Simon Townsend
Design Engineer
After starting my engineering design career over 30 years ago in Combustion system design and then in numerous other industries from wastewater, sub-sea to pharmaceutical material handling, I have come full circle. When not trying to solve the impossible, I can be found in my workshop turning my hand to woodwork and cabinet making.
Jack Coldrick
Graduate Engineer
As a graduate engineer, I help keep our projects moving by coordinating tasks, managing documentation, and supporting day to day project delivery. Since joining in late 2025, I’ve enjoyed working with different teams, staying on top of deadlines, and making sure the technical and organisational pieces come together smoothly.
